Site Safety Manager Homer City, PALunova Group is partnering with our local construction client to recruit a Site Safety Manager for their team on a major project in Homer City, PA. They are a General Contractor with a 25-year track record in the Pittsburgh construction market and beyond, known for delivering high-quality commercial and industrial work.This role will support one of their most significant upcoming industrial projects and will be onsite fulltime in Homer City, PA from project start through completion, with continued fulltime employment based out of Bridgeville, PA afterward.Why Join the Team?This is a highimpact opportunity to lead safety on a major industrial jobsite where your expertise sets the standard for the entire project. With longterm stability, strong company values, and meaningful influence on daily operations, this role is ideal for a safety professional ready to take ownership.About the RoleAs the Site Safety Manager, you will serve as the fulltime safety leader for the project, working alongside leadership, subcontractors, and inspectors to ensure a safe, compliant, and highly organized jobsite. Youll build structure where needed, lead all fieldlevel safety processes, and act as the primary point of contact for safety planning, reporting, training, and enforcement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all site safety operations, serving as the dedicated safety authority on the project.Create and maintain structured safety processes, documentation, and reporting.Conduct daily and weekly safety meetings, audits, inspections, and JHA/pretask planning.Ensure compliance with OSHA, site requirements, and projectspecific protocols.Oversee LOTO coordination, hot work permitting, confined space oversight, SWPPP, and other required controls.Develop and maintain site logistics plans related to safety.Partner with the Superintendent/Construction Manager, and Project Manager to reinforce safety expectations.Interface with subcontractors, inspectors, AHJs, and client representatives as the onsite safety lead.Lead inspection readiness, including thirdparty testing coordination and special inspections.Maintain thorough documentation: daily safety reports, incident logs, corrective actions, and trending analysis.Requirements5+ years of dedicated construction safety management experience.Strong background in industrial or commercial construction environments.OSHA 510, CHST certification or OSHA 40 experience.Demonstrated experience running safety for large, complex projects with formal reporting requirements.Strong understanding of JHA/pretask planning, LOTO procedures, crane operations/signaling, and hazard mitigation.Ability to build structured safety plans, emergency response plans, and site logistics related to safety.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage field teams, enforce accountability, and build trust.Independent, proactive working style with the confidence to lead safety autonomously.Ability to work onsite fulltime in Homer City, PA throughout the project duration, then transition to Bridgeville.If you are a proactive safety professional looking for a highimpact role on a major regional projectand seeking longterm stability with a strong, growing contractorthis is an excellent opportunity to lead and make a lasting difference.
