Physical Merchandising Program Manager - North America - LuxotticaMeta is hiring for an experienced Retail Program Manager to support the development of the Meta retail display portfolio in the Luxottica channel within North America. This reports into the Physical and Field merchandising lead for North America. The role will drive the planning and orchestration of physical go to market programs in a net new channel for Meta. The role may also support a variety of other projects that come up to progress the ongoing success of the team's programs as well as drive overarching process development for physical merchandising activities. The program manager is responsible for maintaining the budgeting, planning and production of fixtures and graphics. The role involves extensive coordination and negotiation between fixture/graphic companies, internal cross-functional teams as well as external vendor partners, to ensure accurate and on time updates are delivered to stores or to third parties. The role will interface with internal and external resources, third party technical support partners, content creators and channel marketing teams across Reality Labs.ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Regional Lead to initiate, progress and deliver project activities in the Luxottica channelBuild foundational understanding of this retail channel to support continued growth and net new display opportunities and initiativesAct as a key point of contact driving activity between global fixture vendor partners, graphic companies, channel marketing managers, creative and marketingTrack and manage the financial aspect of projects. Use internal payment systems and tools to track progress payment activities. Work closely with team members to ensure all activities are on budgetWork to identify areas to value engineer, negotiate with vendors on deliverables such as production, kitting & shipping costsMaintain project trackers to ensure all updates execute on timeWork on internal process development, collaborate with team members to drive efficiencies for physical merchandising initiativesOrganize vendor partner conference calls to track and updates and ensuring all deadline dates are on trackPrepare internal communications to convey and drive understanding of project plans and activity statusReview engineering, prototypes, digital and printed proofs for all programs with a keen eye for detailUnderstand fixture production processes in order to properly prepare workback schedules and deliverables with the broader organizationNegotiate with suppliers on pricing (design, engineering, fixtures and shipping costs)Minimum QualificationsUnderstanding of third-party brick-and-mortar retail including first hand experience working with North American retail partners5+ years of retail project management experienceUnderstanding of the fixture design, development and implementation processProficient in the creation and maintenance of project trackers across multiple programs and stakeholdersExperience maintaining budgetsExperience with navigating various organizational environments and competing prioritiesPreferred QualificationsExperience in the optical industryExperience within the consumer electronics industryExperience working directly with Luxottica and their umbrella of retail brandsExperience of qualitative and quantitative retail research projects and working with insights team to drive learnings and influence changeFirst hand experience of the 2D artwork production process, from creative layout through to print productionExperience within a brand executing a direct-to-consumer physical retail strategy$116,000/year to $166,000/year + bonus + equity + benefitsIndividual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
