Business Banking Relationship ManagerBusiness Banking Relationship Managers play a pivotal role in helping our business clients achieve their financial goals. They do this by approaching each and every day with a single purpose - to do the right thing by our business clients to help them achieve their vision for success and the lives they want to lead. You will also have access to an expansive set of products and solutions to better serve your business clients today and into the future.The responsibilities are as follows:Bring new business clients to the bank through strong business development and prospecting.Be the primary advisor for our business clients.Build, develop, enrich and manage new and existing relationships with business clients.Deliver financial expertise and client-centric solutions that build strong, long-term relationships.Assess and attend to clients' banking needs.Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services.Recommend financial solutions based on each client's unique goals and needs.Partner effectively with Treasury Management, Merchant Services and High Value Credit Card teams.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experienceSeven or more years of relevant experiencePreferred Skills/Experience:Knowledge of local marketIdeal candidate resides in the marketAble to demonstrate principals of credit risk managementHave "soft skills" to partner and collaborate across business linesProven track record onboarding and retaining businesses with revenues $2.5MM to $50MMProven track record of success meeting targets that are quantifiable and qualitativeStrong relationship management and business development abilitiesWell-developed analytical and problem-solving skillsBasic knowledge of credit administration, analysis, and credit policy/procedureKnowledge of cash flow management and business credit underwriting with commercial credit training preferredDemonstrated understanding of basic financial accounting and analysisBroad knowledge of bank products and services that results in successfully identifying appropriate opportunities to sell the bank's productsAbility to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationshipsExcellent presentation, verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated business acumen with knowledge of diverse @types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic conceptsBenefits:Healthcare (medical, dental, vision)Basic term and optional term life insuranceShort-term and long-term disabilityPregnancy disability and parental leave401(k) and employer-funded retirement planPaid vacation (from two to five weeks depending on salary grade and tenure)Up to 11 paid holiday opportunitiesAdoption assistanceSick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 80 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by lawU.S. Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
