Senior Commercial Project Manager - Renewable EnergyBeacon Hill's client in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Senior Commercial Project Manager with a strong background in commercial portfolio management and experience in solar, renewable energy, or utility-scale projects. This role focuses on managing large-scale commercial solar projects (500kW-25MW) and leading a team of project managers. You will oversee planning, scheduling, procurement, and execution for complex projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and exceptional customer experience. This position reports directly to the Director of Commercial Operations and will manage two current Project Managers while hiring 1-2 additional team members.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Scheduling & CoordinationSubcontractor & Supplier ManagementBudget & Financial OversightTeam LeadershipStakeholder CommunicationRequired QualificationsExperience: 5+ years in commercial project management within solar or renewable energy (required). Proven leadership experience managing teams.Certifications: OSHA 10 (required). OSHA 30 (required within 30 days if not current). Project Management certification (required within 18 months if not current).Technical Skills: Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, battery storage, and permitting. Familiarity with electrical codes and building standards. Proficiency with Google Suite, Salesforce, NetSuite (preferred).Core Competencies: Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and subcontractors. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to travel and work in commercial field conditions.Compensation & BenefitsProfit-sharing bonus (10% target) + productivity bonus (3-5%).Comprehensive benefits package including: Health, dental, and vision insurance (individual plans free).
