Patient Care TechnicianDaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. Key responsibilities include delivering safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care, monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment, setting up and maintaining dialysis equipment, recording vital signs and patient data, and educating patients on treatment and kidney health. Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, comfort around blood, needles, and medical equipment, physical ability to work long shifts on your feet, and willingness to float between local clinics if needed. Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.DaVita requires teammates to comply with Federal and State requirements related to vaccination against Covid-19. This includes being up to date with vaccinations or having a qualified exemption.
