Then you may be our next great swim instructorWe are actively recruiting individuals we can train to become the best swim instructors and/or lifeguards in the industry. Whether you're retired and looking for part-time hours in a job you'll enjoy or you're looking for a position that offers potential to build your way up through one of the fastest growing swim schools in the country, we have a place for youHours: 5-40 hours per weekDays: Varies; open Monday through Sunday - both am and pm shifts availableEssential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Swimtastic curriculum in a fun, positive manner.Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills.Maintain proper equipment and time organization to ensure timely class start times.Provide customers with weekly, individualized feedback on swimmers.Position Qualifications and Requirements:Previous swim instruction experience is preferred, but not required. Loving kids and being reliable with the ability to swim is an absolute necessityWilling to certify in CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer, and infantsTraining in the Swimtastic curriculum will be provided - just bring joyCompensation: $13.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits/Perks:Great PayFlexible SchedulesFree swim lessons for your child
