Asphalt Paving Superintendent

The Asphalt Paving Superintendent will spend their time overseeing multiple asphalt paving crews at a time, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in the day to day operation.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead asphalt foremen during day to day operations
  • Model and maintain the safety culture of C.R. Jackson
  • Communicate with key internal and external partners for project delivery
  • Coach and support the crews to provide a timely and safe delivery of a quality product every shift
  • Plan and schedule the logistics of the day to day operation, including communicating effectively and efficiently
  • Train and develop the individual members of the paving crews, providing both encouragement and accountability


Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of asphalt operations supervision experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated and driven to achieve results and solve problems
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain composure in a high pressure environment
