Summary:

The Social Media Director at STIR is a critical role within the integrated team that plans and executes highly effective campaigns. The position leads social-first clients and contributes to many more integrated accounts as well as participating in new business activities as a key part of our team.


Key skills will include creativity in messaging, vision, and demonstrated resoursefulness in community management, paid campaign management, reporting, and account management. This individual will be responsible for leading STIR’s social team to develop and execute strategy for a variety of B2B and B2C clients to generate brand awareness, increase engagement and to drive conversions.

Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining brand consistency across social media channels, managing project timelines and evaluating overall campaign performance. This role will include social and marketing writing, social image development, channel optimization and data analysis.


Essential Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Create, maintain, and grow new and existing social networks, including LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and X.
  • Plan and manage organic and paid social media advertising strategies and budgets.
  • Community management, social listening, and the ability to respond appropriately to user comments on all channels.
  • Creative campaign development and the ability to write, edit, and proof social media posts and direct other team members on social writing.
  • Set appropriate KPI’s and measure the success of every social media campaign using data and analytics to provide actionable insights and performance analysis.
  • Contribute creative ideas and strategies to the general agency to serve existing clients as well as new business opportunities.
  • Manage social team members and the outsourcing of work as necessary to specialists.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with all internal agency team members in the planning and execution of campaigns.
