Associate Clinical Informaticist

Day to day:
A large healthcare client in the Atlanta area is seeking a clinical informaticist to join their team. This resource will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between healthcare and information technology. Responsibilities will involve managing and analyzing data to enhance patient care quality, collaborating with healthcare professionals, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and secure computerized systems within healthcare organizations.
While this position isn’t as technical as some other informaticist roles, this resource will be integral in assisting with workflows, rounding with clinical staff, leveraging EPIC, relationship building with clinical leaders and staff while simultaneously ensuring users are having an excellent experience by joining daily safety huddles. The Clinical Informaticist will be supporting two Medical Centers (in Cartersville, GA and Mountain View, GA) where they will be the primary informaticist supporting the clinical staff at each location.
There is a hands-on mentorship and training period during the first 90 days to ensure the success of the Informaticist in their new role.
Must have:
- 2 years experience as an RN (preferably working at the bedside)
- Bachelors degree (BSN preferred but open to other degrees as long as RN license is obtained)
- EMR experience (EPIC is preferred)
- Passion and interest in informatics
- Important soft skills- Autonomous, Resourceful, Strong problem solving skills, Strong communication skills, Strong interpersonal communication skills, detail-oriented
