Material HandlerWe are seeking a dedicated Material Handler for an open position on the 2nd shift, from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. This role involves managing inventory, handling materials, and ensuring efficient production processes.Responsibilities:Conduct daily inspection and maintenance of forklift equipment.Work overtime as assigned.Update location sheets, especially during system downtimes.Locate materials into inventory per guidelines or location sheets.Perform cycle counts and pull materials from inventory for work orders.Return materials to inventory from completed work orders.Issue materials according to departmental requests.Load, unload, and relocate materials as required by Inventory, Production, Shipping, and Quality Control.Essential Skills:6 months of previous forklift experience.Valid lift truck license or ability to attain certification.High school education or equivalent.Ability to lift 35 lbs. on a continual basis.Good communication skills and team-oriented.Basic knowledge of inventory systems.Ability to stand, walk, bend, or stoop during the entire shift.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Inspection and quality assurance experience.Leadership and initiative.Strong communication skills.Attention to detail and testing.Experience in lifting and material handling.Why Work Here?Our company is a great place to work offering upward mobility and a good benefits package once hired directly.
