Twin City Staffing is seeking an experienced printing press machinist to join a high-performing production team in Minneapolis, MN This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining printing press equipment while ensuring each job meets precise quality standards. If you have strong mechanical skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this opportunity is for you.Location: Minneapolis, MNWage: $25.00 – $29.00/hour (based on experience)Hours: Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM | (12-hour shifts as needed)Benefits of the printing press machinist role:Competitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO) and holidays401(k) with company matchLife and disability insuranceCompany profit-sharingDuties of the printing press machinist:Set up and run printing press equipment according to job specs and production requirementsRead and interpret job tickets to verify materials, components, and setup detailsOversee press operations to maintain consistent quality and workflow efficiencyConduct continuous in-process inspections to catch defects such as scratches, misprints, denting, or alignment issuesDocument production details and complete shift paperwork accuratelyProvide guidance and direction to a press helper assigned to your machinePerform routine maintenance and upkeep on press machineryTroubleshoot production issues using appropriate tools and methodsMaintain a clean and safe operating area while adhering to all company safety proceduresRequirements of the printing press machinist:Previous experience operating printing presses or similar industrial machinery is valuableStrong mechanical skills with a high attention to detailAbility to follow written instructions and complete production documentationComfortable working within tight tolerances and performing detailed quality checksAble to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly (and occasionally up to 100 lbs)Need to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkHigh school diploma or GED - required12-hour shift as needed per production needs - requiredAdditional Information:Ready to take the next step in your press operation career?
