Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Senior Accounts Payable SpecialistCompile and maintain accounts payable records to meet weekly deadlines. Act as a mentor to less experienced team members. Review invoices for appropriate approval and coding. Enter invoices in the Acumatica accounts payable module. Prepare invoice deduction notices. Manage the Concur travel expense system, including employee and supervisor setup/changes. Upload travel reimbursement requests from Concur into Acumatica accounts payable. Check and approve all invoices for payment. Proofread to check for all data entry errors. Answer and research vendor inquiries. Prepare accounts payable checks, ACHs, and wires. Print accounts payable reports upon request. Maintain all accounts payable files, including approval matrices. Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills: Accounts payable experience, ideally within the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word). Strong organizational skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.Additional Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. At least 5 years of related experience. Working knowledge of Acumatica is preferred, but not required. Ability to learn new concepts. Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies, processes, and practices.Work Environment: This position is based in the office within the Accounts Payable department, providing a collaborative environment where team members support each other in achieving common goals.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Akron, OH.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00/hr.
