The social media specialist will develop content calendars for multiple clients each month. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer with experience working with graphic designers and strategists in a team environment, in addition to a thorough knowledge of social media trends.Who You AreYou are a skilled writer and editor.You have a record of accomplishment creating unique social media content.You have experience leading work with creative disciplines including graphic design and video production.You are comfortable contributing ideas and brainstorming during creative meetings with clients.You're a self-starter who thrives and adapts in fast-paced environments.You are organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.You are a lifelong learner who enjoys researching new content trends and encouraging clients to innovate.Preferred QualificationsAssociate's degree in writing, digital media or related field strongly preferred; Bachelor's degree in closely related field preferred3 years of experience in social media content creationExcellent knowledge and experience developing and implementing social media strategiesPrevious consulting experienceLocal candidates preferredSubmitting a portfolio is required for consideration.Required QualificationsA minimum of 3 years relevant industry experienceExperience in a communications field of expertise: social media, event planning, community engagement, target marketing, descriptive writing, public involvement, etc.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and ability to work independent with multiple teams as well as team orientedGreat interpersonal and communication skills - positive outlook and attitudeHigh aptitude for managing and solving tactical issuesAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustComfortable and competent while working with senior leaders and managing cross-functional effortsDemonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environmentCommitted to quality, continuous improvement, and HDR valuesProficient in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesignProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteHDR is our company.
