Weare seeking a highly qualified Locums Interventional Radiology Physician tojoin our healthcare team in Waukegan, IL. This position involves a combinationof interventional and general radiology responsibilities, providingcomprehensive imaging and procedural services to patients. The ideal candidatewill have experience in performing light interventional procedures and handlingroutine imaging needs, contributing to high-quality patient care. As a Locums Interventional RadiologyPhysician, you will be responsible for performing non-complex interventionalprocedures, including but not limited to biopsies, drainages, and catheterplacements. You will work on-site from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing care duringregular hours and participating in weekend and on-call coverage as required. Inaddition to interventional radiology, you will handle general radiology duties,including interpreting X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs for routine and emergencydepartment (ED) imaging needs.
Requirements:
· Mustbe Board Certified in Radiology with specialized training in InterventionalRadiology.
· ActiveIllinois medical license is required.
· ActiveDEA registration is required.
· CurrentBasic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
· Experiencein performing light interventional procedures and general radiology studies.
· Strongdiagnostic and procedural skills with a focus on patient safety and carequality.
