Call Center SpecialistWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Call Center Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. This contract-to-hire position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by assisting individuals and communities through exceptional customer service and resource connection. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between clients and the services they need, ensuring every interaction is handled with care and professionalism.Responsibilities:Respond to incoming calls and inquiries, providing accurate information and guiding clients to appropriate resources or assistance.Record all client interactions thoroughly and promptly using web-based systems.Stay informed about community services, resources, and programs to provide up-to-date support.Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams to address client needs effectively and efficiently.Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all communications.Utilize various software tools, including CRM systems, to manage client interactions and data.Assist clients with billing and benefit-related questions, ensuring clarity and resolution.Handle customer concerns and resolve issues with sensitivity and attention to detail.Provide bilingual support in Spanish and English when necessary to serve diverse populations.Support ongoing improvements to processes and systems to enhance client experiences.Requirements:Associate's degree or higher preferred; equivalent experience combined with education beyond high school will also be considered.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role.Background in public health, social work, psychology, sociology, criminology, or related social sciences is advantageous.Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.Proficiency in web-based systems, CRM platforms, and standard office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to assist customers effectively with billing, benefits, and general inquiries.Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly preferred.
