Equity Staffing has a new Civil CAD Tech opportunity with one of the nation's top Engineering & Tech Consulting companies that is hiring in their STL area office The opportunity is a great fit for candidates with 2+ years of Civil CAD experience and skills in Autodesk Civil 3D software.

$24 - $26/hr. based on experience

Onsite position, office in Chesterfield, MO area

The Civil CAD Tech will function as a member of a technical team alongside Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers and will be responsible for the creation and revision of technical drawings associated with the civil site design/engineering for various projects.

Main Duties:

  • Assist with preparing new drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts
  • Responsible for adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures
  • Responsible for adhering to ANSI standard drafting practices
  • Assist in drafting, design, and documentation for various projects
  • Assist with tasks utilizing various drafting and design software
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology/CAD related area, CAD certificate will also be considered
  • 2+ years of recent Civil Drafting/Design experience
  • Skills/Proficiency in Civil 3D
  • Bentley OpenRoads or OpenSite experience is a HUGE bonus, not required
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
