Seasonal Sales Associate - StoreSales Associates are to greet and thank every customer who enters and leaves the store. Sales Associates must be knowledgeable of all product lines. Sales Associates are also responsible for keeping the store neat, clean, and all merchandise properly displayed. Sales staff will support management in completing price changes, leveling, display resets and all basic visual standards needed to ensure a neat and clean store.Duties and responsibilities include: supporting the "Cavender's Culture" and driving our mission, vision, and values; providing friendly, courteous customer service and satisfaction by using professional and knowledgeable selling techniques; avoiding high pressure selling tactics; maximizing selling opportunities with each customer; keeping abreast of the latest fashion trends in the western wear industry; keeping the work area neat, clean, and organized; being knowledgeable about CBC policies and procedures; keeping updated on sale promotions; helping stock merchandise and straightening the store as needed; reporting to work promptly and neatly groomed; being security conscious at all times; always scanning products to ensure everything is in its correct area, signed correctly, and neatly displayed; working with customers who return products for an exchange; providing knowledgeable responses to customer inquiries; performing all other duties as assigned; and working with supervisors to understand all actions needed to impact the desired goals set by the company.Qualifications and requirements include: the job requires the associate to raise or lower objects from one level to another regularly during the shift; the ability to comprehend basic instructions; the ability to interpret documents; the ability to apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks; the ability to understand the meanings of words and effectively respond; the associate must be able to read English; the associate must be able to understand English; and the associate must be able to stay alert during work hours assigned.Cavender's is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
