Nurse Manager PositionWellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana (and part of the UHS Healthcare System) and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, and the Adult populations. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is currently looking for a Nurse Manager for our Nursing Department.The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who shares delegated responsibility with the Chief Nursing Officer in all matters related to program issues, unit staff, patient management and daily FTE's. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for the units they are assigned, including accountability of staff. They will participate in the hiring process and will work with Staff Development in developing education for staff. Assists the Chief Nursing Officer with compliance to hospital policies and procedures.This position supervises various Mental Health Technicicans, LPNs, and RNs and is a safety sensitive position.This is a salaried, exempt position.
