HVACR Technician

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an HVACR Technician (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration). The HVACR Technician will be responsible for equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintenance and repair tasks.

Position Responsibilities:

• Willingness and ability to travel throughout Eastern MA on an as-needed basis.
• Performs diagnosis and repair work on refrigeration, evaporative condensers, ice machines, water pumps, compressors, air handlers, electric motors and HVAC units.
• Returns all equipment to proper operating levels with a goal of zero call backs.
• Performs preventative maintenance on the same equipment as listed above to assure optimal.
• Operating efficiency and less downtime for the customer.
• Completes all paperwork in a timely manner.
• Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintenance and repair
• Familiarity with VRF systems and grocery store refrigeration - MUST
• Knowledge of HVACR systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

License/Certification:

• EPA Type II (Required)
• HVAC/R License/Certification in the State of MA
• Clean Driver’s License (No records – MUST)
• $45 - $65h Depending on years of experience
• Relocation Package if you're licensed in MA
• Will take skill test: multiple choice exam + interview
• US Citizens, Perm Residents only
