TalentoHC is partnered with a Travel & Leisure organization seeking a Technical Business Analyst specialization in API design and implementation to join our innovative team. This role will play a crucial part in the seamless integration of systems and applications using cutting-edge technologies to support our revolutionary cruise line operations.


Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for system integrations, with a focus on API design and functionality.

• Work closely with development teams to design robust and scalable APIs using industry best practices, ensuring adherence to standards such as RESTful principles.

• Conduct thorough technical analysis of integration requirements, identifying opportunities to leverage APIs for efficient data exchange and system interoperability.

• Define and document data flows between systems, including message formats, data transformation processes, and integration points using tools such as JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) and Kafka.

• Utilize Postman or similar tools to create and execute API tests, validating functionality, performance, and security of integration endpoints.

• Develop Python scripts, SQL scripts, and utilities to automate integration tasks, data processing, and system monitoring, enhancing efficiency and reliability.

• Create comprehensive technical documentation including API specifications, data schemas, integration workflows, and user guides to facilitate system understanding and support.

• Work closely with development teams, architects, and external partners to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives and integration requirements.

• Develop and execute test plans to validate the accuracy, reliability, and performance of integrations, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in API development and integration practices, recommending improvements to enhance system capabilities and performance.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst with a focus on API design and implementation.

• Strong understanding of API concepts, protocols, and technologies, including RESTful APIs, JSON, and Kafka.

• Proficiency in using Postman or similar tools for API testing and automation.

• Experience with Python scripting, SQL scripting for integration tasks, data manipulation, and automation.

• Solid understanding of data modeling, data flows, and integration patterns.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred
