We are committed to fostering public trust, enhancing economic growth, and maximizing revenue collection to support essential services that benefit all citizens of Louisiana.We're looking for a Revenue Tax Analyst 3 to join our Revenue Processing Center to assist with opening, sorting, batching, routing, and preparing all mail received by the departmentAn ideal candidate should possess the following competencies:Focusing on Customers: The ability to serve the needs of those who support and/or rely on the services provided.Managing Resources: The ability to ensure resources such as time, money, and people are utilized appropriately to result in maximum business value.Using Data: The ability to use relevant and valid data to inform a recommendation for action.Minimum Qualifications: Three years of experience in administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.In this role, you will:Use expert knowledge of section operations and filing requirements to review the accuracy of documents batched, sorted, routed, and editing that is completed by lower level Revenue Tax Analysts and classified employees.Monitor workflow throughout the section and assigns daily tasks to section employees.Distribute buckets and trays of mail to be prepped by lower level Revenue Tax Analysts.Assist in managerial tasks and serves as the initial contact in problem resolution and resolving complex editing transactions and questions.Appointment Type: Promotional or Detail to Special Duty, open only to current permanent classified employees of Louisiana Department of Revenue.
