Federal Construction ManagerThe Quality Control Manager (QCM) will oversee and implement the three phases of controlPreparatory, Initial, and Follow-upfor federal construction and renovation projects at Selma, Alabama. This role ensures compliance with contract specifications, design drawings, and all applicable regulations. The QCM will lead weekly preparatory, safety, and coordination meetings, and manage quality control documentation and inspection processes.Responsibilities:Oversee and implement the three phases of control: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up.Ensure compliance with contract specifications, design drawings, and applicable regulations.Lead weekly preparatory, safety, and coordination meetings.Manage quality control documentation and inspection processes.Essential Skills:Construction quality controlConstruction managementMinimum of 10 years of federal construction experienceExperience in civil/site/utilities, historic buildings, and federal projectsUSACE C-QCM CertificationOSHA 30 certificationSite safetyRequest for Information (RFI) processesProject managementConstruction inspectionAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Strong organizational and communication skillsAbility to obtain federal clearanceWork Environment:This role is based on the jobsite at Selma, Alabama, providing an opportunity to join an 8(a) contractor on a sizeable project. The work environment emphasizes safety, quality control, and coordination among various teams.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract position based out of Selma, AL.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $120000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
