Operations Research Analyst

This position requires U.S Citizenship (NOT ACCEPTED H1B, F1, or Greencard/Permanent Resident), a DoD Security Clearance, and the ability to work onsite (remote/telework is not an option) - no exceptions.
**The position is contingent on contract award expected Summer/Fall of 2024**
Responsibilities/Duties:
The work is in support of the Chief Systems Engineer/Assistant Program Manager Engineering, subordinate Assistant Program Manager Systems Engineers (APMSEs) or Division/Branch Heads and their subordinates by providing multi-discipline research and development, integrated technical baseline development and evaluation, engineering assessment of the programs’ progress towards demonstrating and confirming completion of required developmental tasks and confidence that the technical baseline is mature enough for the next stage of development.
Systems engineering support will include an overall technical assessment of cost, schedule, emerging technology, and maturity of design in support of the acquisition programs.
- Applies scientific, mathematic, and statistical methodologies to the study and analysis of technological problems in relation to engineering and scientific development of processes, systems, and equipment.
- Uses mathematical and computerized modeling and other analytical techniques, to design procedures and execute these procedures for: experiments, tests, and evaluations on weapons systems or equipment.
- Experience with MBSE practices. Experience with how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread (the engineering lifecycle).
- Requires experience with systems engineering and model-based methodologies. Experience with the use of SysML
Education/Experience:
Junior:
- Education: Position requires a Management, Technical or Scientific AS or AA degree.
- Experience: Experience using MBSE Tools, such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator.
- Has taken a SysML modeling language course.
Journeyman:
- Education: Position requires a Management, Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree.
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years of recent and relevant Systems Engineering experience with
- Model-Based Engineering applications and technology. Experience using MBSE Tools, such as
- Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator.
Senior:
- Education: Position requires a Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree. ALLOWABLE
- SUBSTITUTION: A Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience may be substituted for a MS or MA degree.
- These four (4) years of experience are in addition to the required minimum of four (4) years to meet the “Experience” requirements below, requiring a total of eight (8) years of experience.
- Experience: Minimum four (4) years Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based
- Engineering/Digital Engineering applications and technology. Experience using MBSE Tools, such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator
