eCommerce Architect

Location: Northfield, IL onsite 3x a week

Must Haves:

• 5-7+ years of experience in eCommerce
• 2+ years of experience as an Architect
• Oversee the integration of eCommerce platforms with other systems, utilizing Azure Integration Services (AIS) and Azure API Management (APIM) to manage data flow, migration, and synchronization
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, project managers, and business stakeholders
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Experience with composable software architectures that leverage an API-first approach and microservices.
• Design scalable, secure, and composable eCommerce architectures using Azure cloud (Open to AWS and Google Cloud)
• Specific experience with eCommerce platforms (such as ATG, Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).

Our client has an immediate need for an eCommerce Solution Architect to join and lead a multi-year, multi-national modernization program and ecommerce development team. This program and team are dedicated to transforming the ecommerce technical capabilities and building a modern cloud-based platform to drive innovation and scale for the future.

As an Architect, you will collaborate with business and IT leaders to align technology initiatives with business strategies. You will influence changes to business models, processes, organizations, and investments by providing a cloud and API-first technology perspective and an analytical approach to decision-making. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality technology solutions across a portfolio of eCommerce products, systems, and services.
