Ability to troubleshoot, rig and operational check/test engines: P&W PT6A-41, PT6A-42, PT6A-60 PT6A-65 turbo props. Operates ground support equipment and flight line vehicles. Must be able to read, write, and interpret instructions, technical manuals and/or directives necessary for the accomplishment of job assignment. Must be proficient at sheet metal repairs.The Aircraft Mechanic III reports directly to the ACI Supervisors and/or Maintenance Manager.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe primary functions of an "Aircraft Mechanic III" which can be performed without direct supervision include:Performs tasks as assigned/directed by Maintenance Supervisor, and/or Site Manager by instructions, applicable technical data, manuals, and directives.Evaluate aircraft discrepancies to identify proper repair methods. Identifies necessary parts, materials, and tooling requirements to complete the task.Utilize manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, Maintenance Engineering Directives, schematics, drawings, blueprints, charts, and other applicable publications to install, test, troubleshoot, and ensure aircraft modifications are accomplished promptly.Inspect for corrosion, treat and repair discrepancies. Perform touch-up painting and apply decals and labels. Prepare aircraft components for paint.Remove and replace engines, accomplish engine rigging and test.Comply with and follow established standards of workmanship, safety, quality, and production.Key Performance IndicatorsAmongst other basis, the performance KPI shall be linked to the Capabilities Program Manager's achievement of obligations and company requirements.
