After giving it all, you'll return home knowing that you've played your part in creating a truly unforgettable moment.Location: We are seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor for the San Diego Units.Principal Function:As the Human Resources Generalist with a focus on Employee Relations, you will serve as a key advisor to leadership and employees on a wide range of workplace matters. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure consistent, fair, and legally compliant practices in handling employee concerns, conflict resolution, performance management, and workplace investigations.In addition to employee relations, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the provision of employee-focused information, services, programs, processes, and policies. They are responsible for maintaining all personnel-related documentation, files, and systems of record. They will organize general office and administrative procedures and will act as a key support and communications point person for the unit's management team and front line staff.They will provide coordination efforts, support, guidance, counsel, and assistance in the areas of employee relations, benefits, payroll and compensation administration, leadership development, diversity and ethics, employment law and policy compliance, labor relations, recruitment, on-boarding, training, and workforce management.Essential Responsibilities:Supervise payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of employee pay, punch edits, and personnel data maintenance.Address and resolve payroll-related issues, serving as the primary point of contact for escalations and inquiries.Maintain and monitor a schedule of operational accruals to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.Review weekly operational ledgers to confirm proper balancing of all payroll-related operating and balance sheet accounts.Collaborate with corporate departments to respond to inquiries related to payroll, human resources, and accounting.Draft professional correspondence, reports, and payroll-related documentation in a timely and accurate manner.Provide guidance and routine information regarding payroll policies, procedures, and timelines to internal teams.Maintain accurate and confidential records, including employee files, attendance, payroll data, and expense documentation.Prepare recurring and ad-hoc payroll schedules and reports as required for management and audits.Support planning and coordination of payroll-related meetings, training, and compliance reviews.Oversee office supply inventory for payroll and administrative functions, managing orders through corporate systems.Qualifications/Skills:Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Finance or a related field of study and/or appropriate combination of education and experience to ensure on-the-job success.1-3 years of previous work experience in an payroll role, with up to date knowledge of principles.Ability to multi-task and prioritize and work successfully both independently and as part of a team.Excellent customer service skillsExceptional ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.Keen ability to connect easily with others and create positive positioning within a particular context or subject matter.Technologically savvy, with high proficiency in all Microsoft Office and HRIS programs.Other Requirements:Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends, and holidays.Thank you for expressing interest in employment with Sodexo Live.
