SR MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGISTSan Francisco, CA150-200K + 10K Signing Bonus + Paid Relocation Hours are M-F 8 hour shifts.Must cover other sites (San Mateo, CA, Berkeley, CA,) if needed. Our licensed Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic breast imaging and procedures. This technologist must be able to produce ACR quality images in both diagnostic and screening exams. This technologist is able to interact with clinicians and other departments to coordinate patient care. This technologist is able to evolve with radiology information system (RIS) and PACS systems. This technologist must participate in performance improvement activities in the department. Maintains appropriate quality control records and participates in routine equipment testing and maintenance. Additionally, this Mammography Technologist must be willing to train and interact with students and new hires when necessary. Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school. Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays. Must be willing to assist at any of the Medical Center Locations. Minimum of 3 years of Mammography experience for Sr level. More than 5 years of Mammography Exp for Prin. level ARRT Mammography Certification CRT Radiology License CRT Mammography License BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification Requires proof of mammography - specific training of at least 40 documented hours, if certified after April 27, 1999. Requires proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months (rolling 24-month calendar) Requires certificates of at least 15 CEU's in the last 36-month period (rolling 36 month calendar) that must include at least 6 CEU's in each mammography modality used. Requires proof of MQSA approved 3D Tomosynthesis training. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 3 or more years of Mammography experience ARRT Mammography Certification CRT Radiology License Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
