Ampersand Therapy, a woman and therapist-owned company, seeks to enhance the working experience of educators in schools. We are hiring a Special Education teacher in Oakdale, MN for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year.

Job Overview:

  • Special Education Teacher (Multiple Needs)
  • Full-time, 8 hours/day
  • Collaborate with the Special Education Team to implement accommodations and interventions according to student IEPs
  • Serve as a case manager for students by developing and maintaining IEPs and facilitating IEP meetings
  • Create a safe and welcoming learning environment for all students

Requirements:

  • Valid MN teaching license in a special education field (Tier 2-4 preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience teaching K-12 students
  • Training and experience in behavior management and knowledge of crisis response
