About the job

Seeking a hands on Salesforce Developer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate has has worked within API, integrations, and development of where they have connected Salesforce to a client. This role is a contract to hire and is hybrid 3 days per week in the clients Alpharetta office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce development tools.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, providing technical expertise and recommendations.
  • Customize and configure Salesforce to align with business processes, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and communication.
  • Maintain data integrity and security within the Salesforce environment, implementing best practices for data management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Salesforce platform, providing ongoing support and maintenance.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and industry trends, continuously improving the Salesforce environment.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize Salesforce effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support broader company initiatives and projects.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security, and data modeling.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration tools and techniques, such as REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL processes.
  • Salesforce Developer certification(s) (e.g., Platform Developer I/II) is highly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time.
