Certified Top Workplaces- 5 years runningPay Rate: $16.50/Hour, Plus Tips opportunityPurposeThe busser is responsible for efficiently clearing, cleaning and resetting tables, while assisting food servers in all aspects of guest table service, maximizing table turns and maintaining restaurant flow.Duties & ResponsibilitiesClear and reset tables efficiently before, during and after service periods to turn tablesMaintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers and proper table set upsMaintain cleanliness and stock of their assigned areas and side stationsWork as a team, assisting all guests' and team members' needs and inquiriesEnsure that all necessary stock is being replenished during the shiftRespond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude escalating to management when necessaryClean and dry spills immediately upon occurrence; never leaving spills unattendedMove furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to: tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, and equipmentEnsure that any breakage is reported and recordedMaintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipmentComplete opening/running/closing side work duties as assignedAssist teammates with opening/running/closing side work duties upon requestAssists and/ or completes additional tasks as assignedQualifications & SkillsHigh School Diploma preferredProof of eligibility to work in the United States18+ years of agePossession of or the ability to possess all state required work cardsMinimum of one (1) years related experienceProper lifting techniquesGuest relationsSanitation and safetyFull service restaurant operationsAbility to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the publicWorking ConditionsThe working conditions described below are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
