With its EverPro, EverHealth, and EverWell brands specializing in Home, Health, and Wellness service industries, EverCommerce provides end-to-end business management software, embedded payment acceptance, marketing technology, and customer experience applications.We are looking for a Head Of Engineering to focus on our Edge product focused on the EverPro community, training and rebate benefits from commercial partners.About The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic Head Of Engineering to lead the next phase of our platform's evolution transforming our technical systems, enabling intelligent integrations, and building the infrastructure that will power data-driven, AI-enabled decision making across our ecosystem.This is a high-impact leadership role for a technologist who thrives at the intersection of product innovation, scalable architecture, and business outcomes. You'll oversee a team of engineers and work closely with product, data, and business leaders to define and execute our technical roadmap.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & TransformationDrive large-scale transformation of our core technical systems, modernizing architecture to support scalability, flexibility, and future integrations.Champion engineering excellence, robust CI/CD practices, and a culture of continuous improvement.Establish standards for high availability, performance, and security across systems.AI-Driven Product EnablementCollaborate with product and data teams to infuse AI-driven intelligence into workflows, decisioning, and personalization engines.Partner on initiatives like content management automation, AI-based training systems, and predictive analytics models.Integration & Data EcosystemDesign and lead integrations with third-party systems and enterprise partners such as Home Depot, Rakuten, and CJ Affiliate networks.Create efficient mechanisms for ingesting, transforming, and syncing large datasets from partner APIs and databases.Drive a data-first engineering mindset ensuring all features and systems are instrumented for insight, measurement, and adaptive learning.Membership and Affiliate ProgramsOversee the design and implementation of systems supporting e-commerce including affiliate programs, seamless product catalog integration through APIs, membership management, and rewards/cashback programs.Work cross-functionally to optimize the customer journey and integrate new monetization and engagement mechanisms.People & CultureLead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering organization.Build an environment that promotes accountability, innovation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.Foster a culture where engineers are motivated by business impact and customer outcomes.Product UnificationLead and guide the design of core data models to enable the merger of two distinct product platforms one that has legacy technology and the other that is built from a modern tech stack, ensuring that the new unified offering is built on a solid data foundation.Define and implement scalable data structures that not only support seamless functionality and unified reporting across the merged products, but also ensure efficient, reliable ingestion and integration of data from seven additional portfolio products.Champion an approach with data modeling and governance at the core, so that all current and future integrations, features, and analytics are supported by well-structured, consistent, and trusted data throughout the platform.About YouYou're not just a technology leader you're a strategic builder who understands that great engineering unlocks business growth. You combine architectural depth with the pragmatism to deliver outcomes quickly and intelligently.Preferred Qualifications:Proven experience leading mid-sized (20-50+) engineering teams across distributed environments.Track record of delivering large-scale system transformations or platform migrations.Familiarity with affiliate marketing ecosystems, API-based integrations (e.g., Rakuten, CJ, Impact), and e-commerce infrastructure.Experience with membership systems, rewards programs, or digital loyalty platforms.Strong understanding of data-driven architectures, event pipelines, and ML-ready infrastructure.Experience working with CMS platforms and AI-powered tools for content automation or training.Passion for aligning technology strategy with measurable business outcomes.Where: Denver, CO or remote in the US or Canada The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States. Our offices.
