Position: AWS Cloud Developer

Location: San Jose, CA (3-days a week Onsite Mon / Tue / Thu)

The Opportunity:

Join our client's dynamic hybrid cloud Team as an AWS Cloud Developer and play a pivotal role in our ambitious migration project. We are seeking a visionary and strategic thinker with deep expertise in AWS to lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge cloud-based solutions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative project at a global scale, leveraging your senior-level experience and technical prowess in AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asist in the planning and execution of a complex AWS migration project, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption.
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based solutions using AWS services, with a focus on optimizing performance and cost.
  • Utilize Amazon Cognito for sophisticated Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Team to align cloud strategies and solutions with business objectives.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in our cloud infrastructure and practices, staying ahead of the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services, demonstrating a track record of successful cloud projects.
  • Proficiency in Amazon Cognito, with a strong understanding of IAM principles and best practices.
  • Solid experience with cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, and programming skills in Java and/or Python
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders and lead brainstorming sessions.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A commitment to being onsite at our San Jose, CA office, with the flexibility to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k), with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
