Our direct client is looking to bring aboard a Software Engineer on a long-term contract basis with potential to become a permanent position in the future. Looking for candidates local to the Milwaukee, WI area or nearby for occasional coffe or lunch meetings. Candidate must be able to become a direct employee of this client without sponsorship.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:

  • Multiple years of professional experience in a software engineering role focused on web-based systems and data engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in building software solutions from scratch, scaling them with growth and integration with off-the-shelf software.
  • Proficient with React, Java, Node.js, JavaScript, Python and SQL or other equivalent tech stacks.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud services (e.g. Amazon AWS) and related infrastructure, REST APIs and data pipelines.
  • Proven experience designing and developing scalable engineering solutions and a record of accomplishment of collaboration with product and design teams.
  • Proficiency in agile development methodologies, SDLC tooling and Dev Ops.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in healthcare or digital health preferred.
