About the opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced graphic designer to be part of our creative team that tirelessly produces ideas for our graphic apparel. Someone who brings passion, energy, and a shared belief in the brand. Reporting to the Creative Director and working closely with the digital team, design/development, & company leadership, they will help create and develop artwork for t-shirts, accessories, and other apparel, in addition to print, digital, and related categories - working from initial ideation and concept to finished product.


Please note this is an on-site role based in Nashville, TN.

Expectations:

  • Produce quality digital graphics and typography for apparel, print, and web, with an emphasis on graphic t-shirts.
  • Maintain a strong pulse on apparel design trends and competitive landscape performance
  • Promote future concepts that could be applied to the brand creative
  • Collaborate with the design team for the development of artwork and graphics
  • Demonstrate a strong drive and passion for design, understanding that exceptional design contributes to business value and directly impacts revenue
  • Manage multiple projects at once
  • Complete projects in a timely manner with consideration to occasionally shifting priorities
  • Communicate with partners - production team, printers, and others - to present concept decks and ideas
  • The ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Be able to work and think cross-functionally, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of professional graphic design experience including e-commerce, print layout, and branding.
  • A strong online portfolio, exhibiting clean visual design sensibilities (*must include portfolio in application)
  • Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is required. (HTML/CSS capabilities are a plus)
  • Exceptional typographical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combo of education and experience. Where and if you went to school for design doesn’t matter nearly as much as your abilities in aesthetics and application.
  • Must have the ability to multitask, take direction, and fulfill multiple project requests while meeting deadlines
