The company's product portfolio encompasses Prescription Safety, Lenscare, Eyewear Accessories, Lab & Dispensing, Ocular Surface, Exam Supplies, and Vision Testing.Hilco Vision has a state-of-the-art facility in Fairfield, Ohio We are currently searching for an experienced Material Handler to join the team The Material Handler is responsible for conducting put-aways, transferring shipments to their designated areas, and overall material replenishment for the department. The hours for this role are 11am - 7:30pm, we pay weekly. If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from youQualifications:Adhere to all organizational safety practices including following appropriate procedures, as well as the proper wearing of required PPE in designated areasAttention to detail and processes in order to reach a common goal of producing a great product for all customersAble to work independently and within a team environment; understanding that the customer need is of the utmost importanceUnderstanding of the basic operations of a distribution centerAble to read inventory reports and conduct basic math calculationsComfortable with using a ladder.Capable of lifting boxes that weigh up to 30lbsResponsibilities:Review the inventory for packaging supplies and reorder as necessary. Materials include, but are not limited to ice packs, corrugated boxes, packing paper, box tape etc.Replenish shipping stations, and pick carts with materials pickers and shippers use throughout the dayReplenish totes throughout the warehouse as neededPrep and wrap pallets using automated pallet wrap and pallet jacksTransfer packages from our shippers to designated consolidation areasOrganize inventory locations based on product demand, quantity and sizePhysical Requirements:This role requires the ability to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.Benefits:Safety footwear reimbursementPPE provided by the organization (safety glasses, etc.)Know anyone amazing?
