Summer InternshipOur internship program provides an opportunity to spend 10 weeks TBD during the summer working alongside our partners, managers, seniors, and staff in an environment devoted exclusively to your development. As an intern, you will work primarily in our audit department under the guidance of experienced professionals on audit engagements for a variety of clients. Throughout the internship, there will be multiple opportunities to engage with the staff on special projects and during social events.$28.00 per hourResponsibilities include:Assisting in the audit of selected financial statement accountsDocumenting accounting systems and internal controlsPreparing appropriate audit work papersAssisting in the preparation of financial statements and management lettersPreparation of tax returns, primarily Form 5500 (employee benefit plans) and Form 990 (tax-exempt organizations)Special projects as neededQualifications include:Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in AccountingCompletion of the Intermediate Accounting courseMinimum GPA of 3.0Strong oral and written communication skillsInvolvement in extra-curricular and volunteer activities is preferredOver the course of the summer, you will participate in a number of social activities with fellow interns and staff such as bowling, escape rooms, indoor mini golf, etc. and the annual company-wide picnic.
