Join our team and put your touch freight expertise to work This is not a drop-and-go rolewe're looking for drivers who are comfortable with physical delivery responsibilities, including loading, unloading, and handling live animal cargo and research-related products. This is a team driving and over the road position transporting loads across the West Coast; based out of Hayward, CA.Preferred Skills:Electronic log (ELD) experienceDOT knowledgeCommunicate professionally with leadership and warehouse teamsComfortable transporting animals and productsElectric pallet jack operationInclement weather drivingAbility to organize and complete paperwork regularlyFamiliarity with using smart phone and Outlook for regular communicationReefer operation and troubleshootingResponsibilities:Provide efficient delivery and pickup of animals and other productsKeep accurate records and ensure timely deliveriesRun regular assigned route along with specialty runs, as necessaryProduce courteous, professional customer service at all customer locationsTeam driving: RequiredQualifications:At least 5 years CDL driving experienceSuccessful completion of a motor vehicle driving record checkable to follow detailed instructions and communicate in EnglishWhy Join Us?We're not just delivering packages we're powering scientific progress.
