General Summary of Position: The Manning School of Business at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for Adjunct Professors (standard teaching load 1-2 courses per semester). The successful candidates will be expected to begin work in Spring 2026, Summer 2026, and/or Fall 2026. We are looking for candidates who can assist in teaching BSBA, MSA, and MBA students in the following courses: Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Tax, Governmental and Non-Profit Accounting, Fraud/Forensics, and other similar classes. We are looking for candidates to teach both on campus and in our online programs. For a more detailed description of the courses, please visit https://www.uml.edu/Catalog/undergraduate/Business/Course-Listing.aspx Minimum Qualifications (Required): Applicants must have earned an MBA or MS degree in a business-related discipline from an AACSB-accredited school Relevant professional certifications preferred (e.g., CPA, CIA, CMA, etc.) Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience Have current or recent industrial, corporate, or new venture experience in the field(s) of instructional interest Additional Considerations: College-level teaching experience Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to speak and write English clearly Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and diverse populations Preferred Qualifications: Experience using the Canvas course platform or similar learning management system Special Instructions to Applicants: Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. However, the position may close when an adequate number of qualified applications is received. This is a part-time, non-benefited, Union of Adjunct Faculty, Local 1596, UAW position.
