The right Room Attendant checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.Summary of Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesProperly clean and supply all assigned guest rooms and other areas as designed according to standardsMaintains a clean and neat work space at all timesReplaces guest room amenities and linens as necessaryReports all maintenance issues to room inspectorKeeps housekeeping cart stocked appropriately and cleanAssists with special projects when assignedReports and delivers lost and found items to the Housekeeping OfficeAids guests in a friendly, genuine and courteous mannerCompletes deep cleans of guest rooms when assignedKeeps vacuum bags and filters changed regularly, and reports any damage to maintenanceAssists with maintaining cleanliness of public areas and back of house areasManagement reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any timeEducation and Experience RequiredMust be at least 18 years of agePrevious experience in a hospitality environment strongly preferredMust be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screenKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust display and live out Lead with Love qualities strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture by being patient, kind, humble, respectful, selfless, forgiving, honest, and committedAble to make a friendly impression when speaking to or corresponding with guests, vendors, and other employeesMust reflect Dollywood's image by being genuinely friendly and caring and by taking pride in workMust be self-motivated and disciplinedMust be able to prioritize and complete work assignments on a timely basisMust maintain strict confidentiality and judgment regarding privileged informationMust be committed to continuous improvementMust have professional appearance with good personal hygieneMust promote and support a "team" work environment by cooperating and helping co-workersMust be able to be productive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentMust maintain dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules including any required overtime, evenings, weekends and holidaysMust be sensitive to the needs of our Guests and feel empowered to act to meet their needs within company guidelinesMust be able to utilize effective communication, problem solving, conflict management and interpersonal skillsMust show appreciation of othersMust be able to tolerate various temperatures while working outdoorsAble to maintain good personal hygieneAble to get along with other employees to work out problems and resolve conflictsAble to comprehend instructions and retain informationAble to be productive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAble to be flexible to handle frequent changes in prioritiesAble to prioritize tasks and complete assignments on timeAble to operate/drive a company vehicle with valid TN driver's licenseAble to add, subtract, multiply and divide with accuracyAble to communicate effectively using standard English grammar and punctuationAble to meet the physical demands of the job. i.e.: stooping, bending, high level of manual dexterity for operating small tools, walking on uneven ground, pulling, pushing, etc.Able to lift minimum of 20 lbsThe Dollywood Company is an equal opportunity employer.
