We are seeking a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular in Michigan. Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular Position Type: Specialty: Physician - Cardiovascular Location: Michigan Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: 12-hour shifts (day/night combination); 24-hour shifts available if desired Start Date: ASAP End Date: December 2025 (potential extension based on recruitment) Position Details: Patient Population: Adults (18+) Setting: Hospital-based CVICU Responsibilities: Manage daily census of 9 patients Work autonomously in CVICU Provide day and night shift coverage (no call) Collaborate with supervising physician onsite (day) or via phone (night) Required Procedures: Central venous and dialysis catheter placement Arterial line placement Chest tube insertions EMR System: Epic Support Staff: Physician support available (on-site or via phone) Days Per Month: Varied On-Call/Weekends: No call; weekends as needed Submission Requirements: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (AANP) Required Acute Care NP certification Required BLS and ACLS Required Active Michigan license Highly preferred (open to licensing) Minimum of 2 years of CVICU/cardiovascular experience Required Join us today
