Registration Specialist

Position: LVHN - Registration Specialist- NIGHTS- GILBERTSVILLE FLOAT (862360)

(3 month contract- probable extension or permanent conversion)

MUST BE ABLE TO FLOAT BETWEEN Gilbertsville and Macungie

1109 Grosser Rd, Gilbertsville, PA 19525 (primarily this location)

(Training period is mandatory classroom training, full-time 0800-1630 for two weeks. After two weeks of classroom training (M-F 0800-1630), schedule will be 2245-0715 Th-M (every Tues and Wed off). Split between LVH-Gilbertsville and LVH-Macungie based on business needs.

Full time: 40 hours a week

Hours: 10:45pm – 7:15am

***Please note: LVHN requires a full Hep B series (3 doses) or positive Hep B antibody documentation**

Position Information: Performs a variety of administrative functions. Schedules appointments, gives information to callers. Requires a high school diploma with at least 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Education – Required · High School Diplomas or Equivalent. GED.

Experience – Required

· 1 year of customer service. Customer facing.

· Preferred: Patient facing

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Required

· Typing proficiency

· Knowledge and competence for a positive patient experience.

· Able to interact with a diverse customer base, including those seeking emergency services.

· Adaptable, flexible and able to multi-task per managers request.

· Basic computer skills.
