ElectricianWe are seeking a skilled electrician to join our team for new construction projects in the greater Nashville area. As an electrician, you will be responsible for executing plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints to execute electrical plans.Install electrical devices and fixtures such as switches, circuit-breaker panels, fire alarm systems, plugs, and lighting.Pull wires and bend and install conduit.Troubleshoot, inspect, install, and/or replace wires.Essential Skills:At least 4 years of commercial electrical experience.Ability to read blueprints.Experience in bending and installing EMT conduit.Knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical theory.Troubleshooting skills.Journeyman certification.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Journeyman card is a plus but not required.CPR and First Aid training are preferred.OSHA 10 certification preferred.Experience with rigid conduit.Troubleshooting abilities.Must have a diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.Why Work Here?Join a company with over 100 years of history and a commitment to professional growth. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 1st shift, starting between 6:00 am to 7:00 am, generally working 8-hour days. Must be open to overtime during the week and Saturday work.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
