Summary:

Provides petroleum construction and installation expertise to field personnel, project managers, customers, sub-contractors and operational managers. Assists in project management as required. Works closely with the customers or engineers who designed the project and local officials on permits needed for the project.

Responsibilities:

• 40%: Provides expertise to field personnel, construction project managers, and construction managers in the field and in the office. Handles problem solving and project

decision-making activities as needed. Assists in project management and personnel management as required. With the primary focus in Wal-Mart and growth opportunity areas for Seneca.

• 40%: Willing to travel and be part of the installation crews on-site, while assisting in the scheduling of construction projects and supervises staging of materials and equipment for all jobs. Conducts thorough pre-job reviews of all construction projects with project installers and project managers.

• 10%: Provides input to management regarding personnel related matters such as performance evaluations, workforce size, and training activities, and coordination with other branch construction an branch managers with distribution of resources.

• 5%: Improves policies, procedures and work rules regarding petroleum construction. Provides expert consultation to multiple departments regarding the development of safe, efficient and effective policies and work guidelines.

• 5%: Other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Education: Requires High School diploma or equivalent. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science or related fields are preferred.

• Experience: 8 years of construction site leadership experience required.

• Licenses/Certifications: HAZWOPER 40 certification, valid Driver's license, State(s)-issued UST installer license required upon hire.

• Technical Abilities: Strong organizational and influencing skills, including ability to negotiate. Ability to identify parts rare/unusual equipment unique to petroleum tanks and underground storage tank industry. Basic computer skills. Demonstrated skill in project planning and management.

• Autonomy/Direction: Takes performance expectations from senior leaders and influences the work of others through experience, savvy and interpersonal communication skills to meet expectations. Works with little to no supervision and is required to demonstrate high-level decision-making decisions.

• Travel: Travel is required for this position.

Working Hazards: Works in an environment with potential exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, equipment movement dangers, confined spaces, vibrations, dangerous chemical/solvents, electrical shock, and inclement temperature extremes.

• Physical/Mental Exertion Ability to perform heavy physical labor exerting up to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis and up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis performing such tasks as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling,

reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and fingering.

• Tools and Equipment: Ability to perform manual construction work and equipment operation as described. Knowledge and experience with computer programs (ProCore, Outlook).
