This client-facing role requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; the ability to self-direct; client representation experience; and a solid foundation in project management fundamentals. Candidates must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently and across multiple regions. We will help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what inspires you so we can make a big impact on the world, together.Responsibilities:Be well-versed in modern project management techniques within complex, multi-functional organizations; possess an understanding of engineering, design, procurement and contracting, safety, construction, and commissioningEstablish strong relationships with clients and communicate effectively with both technical and management-level personnelManage assigned work from start to close-out, covering all aspects of project delivery to ensure timely and effective executionPrepare PowerPoint presentations and report to management on progress, findings, and recommendationsReview project plans, requirements, and specificationsPrepare RFPs and support the contractor selection and contract award processWork with contractors to establish CPM baseline schedulesPerform resource analyses to identify potential bottlenecks and resource constraintsIdentify project risks, gaps, and opportunities; provide recommendations to stakeholders to mitigate risks and leverage opportunitiesFacilitate, lead, and chair project meetings (including OAC meetings); maintain accurate meeting minutes and action itemsReview and validate project progress, contractor pay applications, and invoicesConduct financial and technical appraisals of project options; perform feasibility studies, site surveys, and liaise with designers, engineers, superintendents, and construction managers as neededSupport business development efforts by contributing to strategy, positioning, proposals, and contract negotiationsPerform other related duties as required and assignedQualifications:Required Qualifications:12+ years of construction project management experienceBachelor's degree in construction, civil engineering, structural engineering, architectural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, project management, or a related technical fieldStrong understanding of construction management and civil, structural, architectural, electrical, and mechanical disciplinesPrior hyperscale data center development and construction experienceSolid working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, and building systems/componentsExperience developing a wide range of reports for different audiencesExperience in client-facing rolesDemonstrated ability to understand technical and complex construction programs and communicate progress clearly to both technical and executive audiencesStrong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and accurately to any audienceProficiency in Microsoft Office programsPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Construction ManagementExperience with Earned Value ManagementActive membership in PMI, CCMA, or similar associationsProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationCertified Construction Manager (CCM) certificationPosition Details:Location (On-site): Des Moines, IowaPosition: Construction ManagerPosition Classification: Salary-based full-time regular hoursCurrent work permit required.
