Program Analyst IIThe Program Analyst II will assist the U.S. Marshals Service's (USMS's) Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) management and other staff members with operations as assigned. This position will liaise with Federal Employees, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI)Responsibilities:Gather and organize information from a variety of sources such as records, computer files, previous studies, interviews, accountable property, etc.Prepare and edit various kinds of written correspondenceReview and analyze documents submitted for completeness and accuracy. This may involve reviewing various invoices and financial documentsWork in groups/teams on special projects to accomplish program goalsResearch and provide accurate information on matters necessary to carry out program policiesPreparing statistical analyses and evaluation of program performance as it relates to various operationsAssist in fund transfer using various USMS DatabasesDeveloping and maintaining logs and databases to track program activitiesProvide administrative support to the various branch offices within the USMS Divisions
