Position Overview: Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Vice President to lead the company's Property & Casualty Insurance division in the Japanese Insurance market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Japanese insurance landscape, extensive experience in P&C insurance, and a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute strategic and business plans with the Vice President to expand the company's presence and market share in the P&C insurance market.
2. Lead and mentor a team of insurance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
3. For new and renewal business, analyze relevant client data and conduct market comparisons by analyzing insurance rates.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and business partners, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
5. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to identify new business opportunities and mitigate risks.
6. Drive product development initiatives tailored to the specific needs and preferences of Japanese clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards.
7. Oversee and administrate the department and organizational policies.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and compliance, to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
9. Available for offsite meetings with clients.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., ACII, CPCU) preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, with at least 5 years of senior leadership experience in P&C insurance.
3. Deep knowledge of the Global insurance market, including regulatory framework, distribution channels, and customer preferences.
4. Proven track record of successfully developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
5. Must obtain and maintain active Property & Casualty Insurance agent license.
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high performance and exceed targets.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both Japanese and English.
8. Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights to inform decision-making and drive results.
9. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and business partners at all levels.
