With 15 distribution centers strategically located throughout the nation, HF Foods Group aims to supply the increasing demand for Asian American restaurant cuisine.Primary FunctionsThe Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse and monitoring the productivity of its staff. Bilingual Mandarin Chinese is a plus.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAchieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goodsMeasure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performanceOrganize and maintain inventory and storage areaEnsure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracyCommunicate job expectations and coach employeesDetermine staffing levels and assign workloadInterface with customers to answer questions or solve problemsMaintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse statusIdentify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practicesConfer and coordinate activities with other departmentsSkills And QualificationsUnderstanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in warehouseThorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policiesThorough understanding of warehouse policies and proceduresExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent time management skillsBilingual Mandarin Chinese is a plusDrug Screening will be REQUIREDPhysical RequirementsMust be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.Education And/Or TrainingHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredBS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration preferred.Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager2+ years of experience working with cooler/freezer storageWork ConditionsOffice and warehouse environmentOccasional periods of standing or sitting for extended periods of timeRequired wearing of appropriate PPEExposure to hot/cold weather and loud noises in a warehouse environmentFrequent computer and telephone useFrequent communication with people throughout the dayEqual Opportunity EmployerHF Foods Group emphasizes and provides equal employment opportunities regardless of race, creed, gender, color, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, or disability.
