Architectural Project LeadWe are seeking talented and motivated architects to join our dynamic design studio. This is an exceptional opportunity to be a vital part of developing our office, with the chance to gain extensive responsibility and opportunities for growth in creative concepts, detailed design, client development, and project management.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage various phases of architectural projects, including design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.Collaborate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment with in-house disciplines and external consultants.Manage project scope, budget, and schedule under the guidance of senior architects or project managers.Contribute to project design through sketches, 3D modeling, and development of creative, practical solutions.Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project delivery.Conduct code analysis, material research, and specification writing.Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment.Support business development activities through proposal input and project presentations, as needed.Essential SkillsAccredited Professional Degree in Architecture (Bachelor or Master of Architecture).11-15 years of relevant experience.Active architectural license.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.Substantial experience in construction documentation and building detailing.Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.US Citizenship required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in creating interesting and engaging graphics for building design presentations.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and thorough.Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketchup, and other graphics programs desirable.Work EnvironmentOur Architecture/Interiors group consists of 31 people, primarily based out of the Baltimore office. Our teams typically comprise 3-5 architects working together in an extremely collaborative setting. We encourage team members to work in the office as much as possible, alongside senior architects, project managers, and principals/VPs who are present daily. A hybrid schedule is offered after six months of employment.
