Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and land planners to develop comprehensive project plans.
  • Analyze project requirements and constraints, including zoning regulations, environmental considerations, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Work with engineers in developing Construction Drawings, ensuring accuracy and value engineering, driving timely municipal approvals.
  • Procure all applicable local, state, and federal permits, fees, and mitigation expenses.
  • Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities related to land development.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
  • Monitor progress, address issues promptly, and make adjustments to meet project timelines.
  • Oversee the construction of essential infrastructure elements, such as roads, utilities, drainage systems, and landscaping.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and construction teams to ensure quality and timely completion of infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and manage budgets for land development projects.
  • Attend pre-construction and other site meetings with inspectors, contractors, and others as needed.
  • Monitor project expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the construction site and project stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and resolutions.
  • Identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during land development.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of project activities.
  • Oversee projects through completion, handling bond releases and HOA transitions.
  • Ensure timely development of land and plat recordation to prevent gapping of lot availability for production.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in land development and construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, zoning regulations, and environmental considerations.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Familiarity with construction software and tools.
