When our client was founded over 100 years ago, they were established as an independent community bank to support area residents and businesses. In the years since they have grown in services and the number of branches but their commitment to their mission remains the same. Due to a pending retirement, they have the need for a new CFO.


Position Summary

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to provide financial leadership and support across all of our bank operations. This position reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, and is based out of our Pandora, Ohio headquarters. The CFO will be responsible for directing and overseeing all accounting and financial activities of the bank and will be a key member of the bank’s leadership team. They will oversee all auditing, recordkeeping, budgeting, tax and accounting activities, and regulatory reporting, working collaboratively across all operations of our values-driven community bank. The CFO is responsible for leading all accounting activities including budget preparation, profit forecasts, and operational changes as needed. They will assist in the analysis of new branch site locations, be responsible for the institution’s funds management activities, and the investment portfolio. The CFO is a key contributor to the formulation, development, implementation and administration of bank-wide policies and business goals.


Position Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is strongly preferred.

· 5 years of accounting experience.

· Banking experience working in an accounting or finance capacity.

· Basic computer skills which include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
